Its lenses are designed for reliable optical, mechanical, and autofocus performance, with current models incorporating advanced optical designs, modern autofocus technology, lightweight yet durable construction, and protective features for real-world photography and filmmaking.

Yes. Professional photographers and filmmakers use Tamron lenses for a variety of applications, including portrait, wedding, wildlife, travel, landscape, sports, and video production. Tamron also works with a community of professional photographers and filmmakers who use its lenses in their work and share their experience.

Tamron Di lenses are designed for DSLR cameras and can be used with compatible full-frame and APS-C DSLR bodies. Many Di DSLR lenses can also be used on compatible mirrorless cameras with the appropriate mount adapter. Di III lenses are designed specifically for mirrorless camera systems and mount directly to compatible mirrorless cameras without an adapter. Tamron also uses the Di III-A designation for lenses designed specifically for APS-C mirrorless cameras.

Yes. In addition to Sony E, Canon RF, and Nikon Z, Tamron currently makes lenses for Fujifilm X-mount cameras. Tamron does not currently list L-mount lenses in its mirrorless lens lineup.

Tamron lenses purchased through an authorized Tamron Americas retailer or the TAMRON Store are eligible for the applicable Tamron Americas warranty and service benefits. Gray market products are imported outside the authorized Tamron Americas distribution channel and are not eligible for Tamron Americas warranty, service, or repair in the United States, Canada, or Mexico.
