A Two-Part Creative Experience Presented by Glazer’s & Tamron.

Step into the world of cinematic storytelling and learn how to transform concepts into striking, narrative-driven imagery. Led by Seattle-based Creative Director and Photographer Zeus Ramirez, this two-part workshop explores the full creative process—from ideation and pre-production to execution on set. Known for blending practical lighting, in-camera effects, and editorial direction, Zeus will guide you through building images that feel pulled straight from a film.

LOANER GEAR

Tamron will have a selection of lenses available to use during the workshop. Please make sure to bring your own as there are a limited amount of loaner lenses and you may need to share lenses throughout the workshop.

Wildlife Photography Seminar

Join professional nature & wildlife photographer Cecil Holmes for an in-depth look at the technical and creative fundamentals of wildlife photography. He’ll cover essential gear requirements and critical camera settings for success with your fleeting subject. Additionally, he’ll discuss advanced composition techniques such as managing negative space and utilizing “Golden Hour” light to capture sharp, impactful images of animals in their natural environments.

Hands-on demo session

Join us for a hands-on photo shoot in our backyard Urban Photo Park with free Tamron lens loaners. Try out techniques we talked about in class and spend some time shooting with gear that’s perfect for wildlife photography wherever your travels take you.

Macro Photowalk

Roses, lilies, honeysuckles, lavender, and wildflowers galore!

Spring in Utah brings an incredible assortment of plants and insects that come to life in our dry climate. The shape of each unique flower, the bright colors, the bees collecting pollen, and the minute details that can easily go unnoticed are some of the many things that draw admirers to the world of macro photography.

Come join us as we take you on a walk through the beautiful Red Butte Gardens using macro lenses.

We will meet in the front of Red Butte Garden at 4:00pm and will separate into different groups focusing on different plant arrangements in the gardens. Tamron will be in attendance to help provide instruction and loaner lenses.

Camera Day brings together the So Cal photography community. This unique event offers you the opportunity to capture stunning images of the historic Queen Mary and the Downtown Long Beach shoreline.
