Tamron’s fast telephoto zoom 70-180mm F/2.8, which completes the company’s fast zoom trio for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras; the 28-200mm F/-2.8-5.6, the world’s only all-in-one zoom for interchangeable lens cameras to start at F/2.8; and the wide prime 35mm F/2.8 for mirrorless that features a 1:2 macro, have each been selected. This year marks the 21st edition of Professional Photographer magazine’s Hot Ones. The Hot Ones featured products range from high-end specialty gear to economical tools of the trade as well as items designed to make a great impression on photographers’ clients. About the Lenses
En 70-180 mm F/2,8 DI III VXD features a compact and lightweight design with a 67mm filter diameter, the same as Tamron’s highly esteemed 17-28mm F/2.8 (Model A046) and the 28-75mm F/2.8 (Model A036). The optical construction includes several special lens elements that contribute to the lens’s overall superb imaging performance and the very short 33.5” MOD (Minimum Object Distance) expands overall versatility. The lens utilizes Tamron’s newly developed VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism that produces an autofocus drive that’s quieter and quicker than ever before.

En 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 DI III RXD is the first all-in-one-zoom in the world to achieve a maximum aperture of F2.8 at the 28mm wide-angle end. To assure superb optical performance, it features a precise arrangement of special lens elements that accommodate the increasingly high resolutions of today’s digital cameras. Enabling high quality image rendering throughout the zoom range, the lens responds to users’ photographic expressions in powerful style. With its 4.6” length, 20.3 oz. weight, and filter diameter of a mere 67mm, the 28-200mm F2.8-5.6 offers excellent portability. When combined with a compact, lightweight full-frame mirrorless camera, it allows photographers to capture virtually every scene they encounter in daily use, travel, sports and nature.

El versátil 35 mm F/2,8 DI III OSD M1:2 is ideal for everyday/every subject use and strikes a balance between gorgeous image rendering and superior operation. The lens features the same filter size (Ø67mm) for Tamron’s three prime and four zoom lenses and achieves the company’s aim of compactness. The 35mm lenses is capable of focusing very close, to an unprecedented in this category magnification ratio of 1:2. Other features include Moisture-Resistant Construction (for outdoor shooting) and a Fluorine Coating on the front element for easy maintenance and fingerprint removal. The 35mm is one of three primes launched by Tamron for the Sony full-frame mirrorless system. The 24mm F/2.8 M1:2 (model F051) and 20mm F/2.8 M1:2 (model F050) complete the prime line-up.

All Tamron lenses for Sony full-frame mirrorless cameras are compact and lightweight, feature Ø67 filter size, support various camera features offered by certain Sony cameras, such as Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF, and offer a multitude of advanced functions to ensure a pleasant shooting experience and fantastic results.
