Seminar: Photographing Bugs with Tamron

Join Tamron at Hunt’s Photo’s May Expo for an exciting close-up photography experience featuring an array of fascinating insects, guided by the expertise of Professor Bugman Entomology Adventures! This hands-on event showcases Tamron’s exceptional macro and close-focusing lenses, perfect for capturing the intricate details of nature’s tiniest wonders. Professor Bugman, known for bringing entomology to life through engaging, educational experiences, will provide real bugs and expert insights, making it an unforgettable opportunity for photographers of all levels. Don’t miss this chance to explore the world of insects up close, test cutting-edge Tamron lenses, and ignite your passion for macro photography!

A Tamron representative will be on-hand providing free loaner lenses with incredible close-up capabilities in a variety of focal lengths.
Participants should bring a camera with a fully charged battery, memory card, any lens in the 18-400mm range (or borrow a Tamron lens!). Group sizes for this workshop will be limited to allow everyone an opportunity to capture images of the various bugs on display.

Celebrate the everyday and immerse yourself in urban, public art! Join Roberts Camera and Jillian Bell in this purely inspirational photo walk. In which we will explore ideas in urban minimalistic imagery. Looking at places you pass every day can inspire works of art you can print and hang in your home. She’ll simplify scenes into shapes, colors and lines in a way you may have never thought of. Exploring, you’ll find pictures within the picture, putting your own spin from a larger scene.

Bring your camera, comfortable walking shoes and an open mind. Tamron will have a small selection of lenses to try something new!
