Tamron Picnic in the Parking Lot

Join Tamron at Kenmore Camera for a fun day of photo education, lunch, and fun shooting opportunities.

11:00am – 11:45am: Close-Up & Macro Seminar We will start off in the classroom with an instructional seminar on Close-Up and Marcro Photography presented by Tamron’s Field Services Specialist and professional Photographer, Kristine Bosworth. This will prepare us for our hands-on shooting portion later.

12:00pm – 12:30pm: Lunch We will break for lunch, which will include sandwiches and snacks, and the team will answer any questions. Tamron will loan out Tamron lenses before we jump into the hands-on photography portion.

12:45pm – 2:15pm: Hands on Shooting The Reptile Man will be here with his slithering, scaled subjects for us to practice our new learned Macro techniques, along with instruction and guidance from the Tamron team. Take advantage of the Tamron loaner lenses to get your best shots.

2:30pm – 3:15pm: Wildlife & Birding Seminar But wait, there’s more! We will head back to our seats again for the final seminar on Wildlife and Birding Photography. Following this seminar we will wrap up the day with your final questions.

Join Tamron and Dan’s Camera City for a fun photo experience in our Urban Photo Park

The day will start off with an instructional seminar on birding and wildlife photography presented by Tamron’s professional photographer, Ken Hubbard. We will then head outside to the Urban Photo Park behind Dan’s Camera City to have a picnic lunch, answer any questions, and loan out Tamron lenses for free. Finally, we will be joined by falconer Margaret Young and her birds of prey for us to photograph. Please join us for a fun filled day of photo education.

Join Tamron professional photographers, Erica Robinson and Ken Hubbard, in collaboration with The Camera Store, and led by the experienced guides of Sababu Safaris, on a once-in-a-lifetime photographic journey to Tanzania. Here, you will be surrounded by incredible scenery, wonderful people, and an abundance of wildlife. Our travels will begin in the city of Arusha, then take us through Tarangire National Park, the Southern Serengeti Ndutu Plains for the great wildebeest migration, the Ngorongoro Crater, and end in West Kilimanjaro. Along the way we will stop to visit with local tribes, participate in a sunrise hunt with the Hadzabe bushmen, distribute solar lights with the Datoga, and spend a full day with the Maasai.
