Birding with Tamron: Lecture: Interested in getting great shots of birds, but not sure where to start? Join us Friday night from 5:30-6:30pm at Fort Worth Camera to discuss what is needed setting and gear wise to get a great photograph of a bird. This lecture will be part 1 of this bird workshop! An event at the Fort Worth Nature Center will occur on Saturday, March 7th that is a separate registration. This ticket will not apply to Saturdays event (see below).  Find out more

Birding with Tamron: Fort Worth Nature Center! Tamron and Blackland Prairie Raptor Center will be teaming up with Fort Worth Camera School of Photography to provide you with an educational morning photographing birds! This event will be hosted at the Fort Worth Nature Center. We will meet up at 8am so you can choose your loaner lens provided by Tamron. From 9-11am you will have opportunities to photograph live birds of prey! The remainder of the morning we will venture out into the park to see what birds are active in the area. Join Tamron for an exciting 2-part workshop with the Lakota Wolf Preserve

This expedition will be led by Field Services Manager and professional photographer, Ken Hubbard and Patty Gregitis, of Tamron Sales Division. Allen’s Camera staff will join us to provide personalized guidance throughout the workshop. The event will begin Friday, March 27th at Allen’s Camera, with an informative seminar covering useful photography tips and techniques that will benefit you on capturing great images at Lakota, as well as cover the guidelines of Lakota Wolf Preserve. On Tuesday, March 29th we will have two workshop sessions at Lakota Wolf Preserve and each will wrap up with free wine tasting at Brook Hollow Winery. Free Tamron lens loaners will be available for use throughout the event.

Precision Camera University, is a two-day, hands-on photography experience, featuring specialized photography workshops led by four leading photographers in the industry today. Each student will be placed in one of four breakout groups that will cycle through each instructor’s immersive 4 – hour workshop over the two days. Each workshop will be a mixture of lecture time and hands-on shooting with live models, professional-grade studio sets, and dynamic lighting.  This weekend is an amazing opportunity to enhance your portfolio, network with other photographers, and gain exclusive insights from world-class instructors!

Join us for an exciting 2-part workshop at Luna Parc Atelier led by Field Service Manager and professional photographer, Ken Hubbard and Patty Gregitis of Tamron Sales Division. The event will begin Thursday, April 9th, with an informative seminar covering useful photography tips and techniques that will benefit you on capturing great images at Luna Parc, as well as cover the guidelines of the semi-private museum, atelier, and private home of 21st century American multimedia artist Ricky Boscarino.

On Saturday, April 11th, we’ll take our charter bus to Luna Parc and walk the grounds capturing unique and beautiful photos with the help from Tamron and staff of Dan’s Camera City. Free Tamron lens loaners will be available for use throughout the event.

Luna Parc is only open to the public a few days a year. Our group will have special, exclusive access to the building and grounds for our workshop on a non-public day. We hope you can come and enjoy this rare treat with us!
