Tamron EDU

All accredited university and college level schools qualify for the Tamron EDU Program. All Majors and Minors qualify.

Faculty and Staff employed by an accredited college, university or school district and undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in an accredited college or university are eligible for the Tamron EDU Program. This program is for students / staff / faculty for purchases within the USA and Canada only.

Students at the Elementary, Middle and High School level do not qualify. Students in trade schools do not qualify. PPA schools and workshops (e.g., Santa Fe, Maine, etc.) do not qualify. If you feel your school should qualify, contact student.educator@tamron.com to discuss consideration.

The Tamron EDU Program provides discounted pricing of Tamron lenses. There are three distinct types of purchases that will fall under the Tamron EDU Program.

a) A student, faculty or staff member (as an individual) who qualifies for this Tamron EDU Program purchases at any authorized dealer
You will buy your Tamron lens at any of Tamron’s authorized dealers in the USA or Canada*. You will then log on to the Tamron rebate portal at https://bit.ly/TamronRebateClaims to process your rebate claim. Processing of your check may take 2-4 weeks.

b) A student, faculty or staff member (as an individual) who qualifies for this Tamron EDU Program purchases at a preregistered EDU dealer website
You will buy your Tamron lens at a pre-registered EDU dealer website (such as B&H Edu Advantage or Adorama EDU online). Since these websites pre-verify your academic status, you receive the discount up front and no rebate claim is required.

c) A school district, university or department will purchase Tamron lenses with a Purchase Order (PO)
These organization purchases are bid out from any of our authorized Tamron dealers*. You can also reach out to Kristine at student.educator@tamron.com for order assistance. Lenses will be quoted at the current Tamron EDU Program discounted price and no rebate claim is required.

Yes. The educational rebate amount will adjust with current National Instant Savings incentives in effect on the specified product at the time of purchase. See the Tamron EDU Program sheet at https://tamron-americas.com/tamron-edu/ for the price you pay at the authorized Tamron Americas dealer which will include any National Savings in effect and the amount of your EDU rebate you will claim after purchase. If your purchase is lower than the Tamron EDU Program final price, no rebate claim can be made. Special Tamron Event mail-in bonus rebates at tradeshows and certain dealer events can be claimed using the codes from the bonus rebate sheet you will receive at the event.
