Born in 1967 in Aichi Prefecture, Japan. Currently lives in Chiba Prefecture. Became an independent freelance photographer after 26 years in photo retail. He mainly photographs pets, nature and sports, and writes product reviews of cameras, lenses and photo accessories. He is a member of the Japan Professional Photographers Society (JPS) and an EIZO Certified ColorEdge Ambassador. He is also an instructor at the Sony Alpha Academy.
