Lisa Langell

Lisa Langell is an award-winning nature and wildlife photographer, educator, author, and Tamron Americas Image Master. Known for her energetic teaching style and engaging presentations, Lisa has become one of the photography industry’s most respected educators, helping photographers strengthen both their technical skills and creative vision. 

Lisa leads photography workshops, destination tours, conferences, and seminars throughout North America, covering wildlife, birds, macro photography, landscapes, and creative composition. Her educational programs are known for making advanced photographic concepts approachable while encouraging photographers to develop their own artistic style. 

Her work has been recognized through numerous awards, publications, and speaking engagements, and she is a frequent presenter for photography organizations and major industry events. Lisa’s passion for conservation and education is reflected in both her photography and her commitment to helping others appreciate the natural world. 

Based in Arizona for over 20 years, she has recently relocated to Colorado where she continues to enjoy photographing wildlife, nature, ranching lifestyles, cowboys, and creative compositions.  Lisa also enjoys photographing wildlife across the Americas while continually seeking new opportunities to teach and inspire photographers. Through her blog contributions, she shares practical techniques, creative insights, and field experience gained from years of photographing nature around the world.

When Lisa isn’t teaching or photographing, she enjoys experiencing life with her husband, training her two cherished cats to perform tricks, and painting.
