Dalton Johnson is a commercial and documentary photographer, filmmaker, writer, and Tamron Americas Ambassador specializing in authentic outdoor storytelling. Based in South Lake Tahoe, California, Dalton has built his career documenting adventure, travel, endurance sports, conservation, and the people who embrace life outdoors. His photography blends storytelling with genuine human moments.
For the last decade, Dalton has produced content for leading outdoor and lifestyle brands, including Ford, Patagonia, Men’s Journal, BFGoodrich, Surfline, and numerous tourism organizations and commercial clients through his company Dalton Johnson Media. With experience spanning more than 150 professional campaigns, two award-winning documentaries, and two series now streaming, his work reflects a passion for authenticity, exploration, and connecting viewers to meaningful experiences through photography and video.
