Warning Regarding Suspicious Emails Spoofing TAMRON USA, INC.

It has recently been confirmed that suspicious emails (phishing emails) have been sent to our business partners from a fake domain masquerading as the official domain of our U.S. sales subsidiary, TAMRON USA, INC. These spoofed emails fraudulently request recipients to provide “unpaid invoice information.”

As this is highly likely to be a phishing scam exploiting the Tamron brand, we strongly urge our customers and business partners to exercise extreme caution to avoid falling victim to these fraudulent activities.

・    Verify the sender’s address (domain name): Even if an email appears to be from our group, please carefully check whether the sender’s email address and domain are legitimate.

・    Do not click on links or provide any information: Under no circumstances should you access URLs contained within suspicious emails, open attachments, enter or reply with personal, account, or billing information.

・    Block the sender: If you receive a spoofed email, please block the sender’s email address. We also request your cooperation in reporting the spoofed email to the contact desk listed below.
